As one of the most ethnically diverse areas in Oakland, District 5 faces myriad challenges. As Councilperson for over a decade, Noel Gallo has seen crime, homelessness, and blight increase, particularly during COVID.

Challenge: Neighborhood clean-ups have been weekly events for Noel’s constituents. This series of flyers helped promote these voluntary weekend sessions reaching out to church groups, schools, civic organizations, and everyday residents. They demonstrate Noel’s hands-on approach to community problems.
